Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our website and analyze usage patterns. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
On our public marketing pages, we use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It tells us when someone visits our site, views specific pages such as our product or condition-specific pages, or requests a demo, so we can measure how well our ads work and show our ads to people likely to be interested in QuickBoard. The Meta Pixel shares information with Meta, including the page you visited, your browser and device type, and your IP address. Meta may combine this with other information it has about you. You can review Meta's own privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy and manage the ads you see through your Facebook and Instagram account settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising generally at optout.aboutads.info.
We do not use the Meta Pixel, or any advertising tracking tool, on any page where you log in to use QuickBoard software or where patient or clinical data is shown. Advertising tracking on this site is limited to the public marketing pages you can browse without an account.
YouTube API Services
Quick Board uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to Quick Board's own YouTube channel and to see how those videos perform. By using any Quick Board feature that connects to YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
What we access and store. When a YouTube channel is connected, we receive an access token and a refresh token from Google. We store those tokens, the channel's ID, name, handle and profile picture, and the ID, title and public statistics (views, likes and comments) of each video we upload. We also read daily viewing and subscriber reports for our own channel.
How we use it. We use this information only to upload videos, confirm they published, and show our staff how our own videos perform. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers that host our systems, who may not use it for any other purpose. We do not use it for advertising, and no third party serves ads through our use of YouTube API Services.
Cookies. Our use of YouTube API Services does not place cookies or other tracking on your device. Our general cookie practices are described in "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" above.
Storage and deletion. We keep tokens only while the connection is active. We refresh stored video statistics at least every 30 days or delete them. If a connection is removed, or access is revoked, we delete the related YouTube data within 30 days. You can ask us to delete it sooner by emailing info@thequickboard.com, and we will do so within 7 days.
Revoking access. You can revoke Quick Board's access to your Google account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Compliance with Laws
We are committed to complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are a resident of the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under these laws.
