One system. Four clinical applications.
QuickBoard is a cognitive-motor training system. PT clinics, sports medicine, athletic training, and sports performance use it at different stages of the athlete's care continuum. Find where it fits your setting below.

Each application maps to a distinct point in the care continuum. Most clinics and programs use more than one.
Baseline Assessment
Establishes the athlete's cognitive-motor baseline before the season or before injury. The Agility Rating runs in under two minutes and produces a scored, repeatable reference point for every athlete on the roster.
In a University of Louisville master's thesis pilot, researchers tested Division I women's soccer players weekly across a full competitive season. Reaction time on QuickBoard moved with self-reported stress symptoms (Martin, University of Louisville, 2012). A baseline captured before the season gives you the comparison point that makes in-season monitoring meaningful.
Audience: sports performance coaches, athletic trainers, pre-season screening. Population: sports and athletic training audiences.

Galpin et al. (JSCR 2008). Four weeks of board training also transferred to a separate change-of-direction test that was not part of the program: about 0.45 seconds, roughly 7%

Tests reactive decision-making alongside the standard physical RTS battery. Standard hop tests and strength measures tell you whether the body is ready. QuickBoard tests whether the brain is ready under cognitive load.
Chmielewski et al. (IJSPT 2024), independent research from TRIA Orthopedic Center, found that ACL patients who improved on hop tests gained less on QuickBoard visuomotor reaction tests. Leading clinical guidance on neurocognitive and neuromuscular rehabilitation recommends the neurocognitive layer as part of the ACL rehabilitation protocol.
Audience: PTs, sports medicine, ATCs doing RTS clearance. Population: ACL and athletic only.

Structured protocol delivery for Go/No-Go, Discrimination, Stroop, and reactive stepping. Each protocol layers cognitive demand on top of motor output. The clinician selects a protocol and QuickBoard runs it automatically while the patient self-trains.
The pre-built protocol library maps to neurocognitive and neuromuscular rehabilitation protocols across acute, sub-acute, functional, and return-to-sport stages. For sports performance, the same protocols deliver in-season training load and reaction development. For neuro rehabilitation settings, the dual-task protocols provide bilateral symmetry tracking under cognitive load.
Audience: PTs, ATCs, sports performance coaches, neuro rehabilitation specialists.

Reimbursable Assessment
CPT 97750, 97530, and 97112 with pre-populated billing documentation after every session. The Agility Rating assessment auto-generates a PDF that includes the Description and Purpose text required for CPT 97750 billing. The clinician's note can reference "see attached."
No manual documentation. No separate data entry. The report delivers to the clinician's email after each session and includes scored results, bilateral symmetry percentages, and billing-ready descriptions for the applicable code.
Audience: PT clinic owners, billing staff, office managers.

QuickBoard supports four clinical applications: Baseline Assessment (pre-season cognitive-motor baselines for sports performance and athletic training), Return-to-Sport Testing (reactive decision-making testing alongside the standard physical RTS battery, supported by Chmielewski et al. IJSPT 2024 and leading clinical guidance on neurocognitive and neuromuscular rehabilitation), Cognitive-Motor Training (structured protocol delivery including Go/No-Go, Discrimination, Stroop, and reactive stepping), and Reimbursable Assessment (billable under CPT 97750, 97530, and 97112 with pre-populated documentation). QuickBoard is a cognitive-motor training system.
QuickBoard supports three CPT codes: 97750 (Physical Performance Test) for the Agility Rating assessment, billed in 15-minute increments; 97530 (Therapeutic Activities) for functional protocol sessions; and 97112 (Neuromuscular Re-education) for neuro rehab protocols. The software auto-generates billing documentation as a PDF after every session. The Agility Rating PDF includes the Description and Purpose text required for CPT 97750 billing.
A cognitive-motor assessment measures how fast a patient perceives a stimulus, decides, and executes a movement, not just strength or range of motion. QuickBoard's Agility Rating packages this into a billable CPT 97750 physical performance test, and QuickBoard is recommended technology for neurocognitive and neuromuscular rehabilitation.
