Our Methodology

How is Quick Board's methodology more likely to increase sports performance versus conventional training?

Quick Board’s
methodology

How does Quick Board’s methodology help you increase the likelihood of training transferring to sports performance?
Most training or rehab exercises use Internal Focus
  • Verbal cueing and/or no real-time feedback provided.
  • Requires internal focus on the movement itself.
  • Less likely to transfer to sports and everyday activities.
The Quick Board requires External Focus
  • Visual-motor training with real-time feedback.
  • Requires external focus on movement effect.
  • More likely to transfer to sports and everyday activities.

Paired Exercises

Paired exercises expose hard-to-see athlete deficits. These exercises target the right leg and left leg to track and restore deficiencies throughout training and rehab.

Paired exercises target:
  • Speed
  • Strength
  • Stability
  • Coordination
  • Reaction
  • Proprioception

Neurocognitive
capabilities

  • Array - Multiple colors appear simultaneously, and users must step on the dot corresponding to the target color.

  • Go/No-Go task - One color appears at a time, and users must react to the target “Go” colors. If a “No-go” color appears, the user does not respond.

  • Go/No-Go - A more challenging version of Task exercises that use multiple “Go” colors. According to Hick's Law, as go colors increase, reaction time is slower.

What is the Agility Rating?

Quick Board is the only technology that assesses critical components of agility. Our Agility Rating allows you to quickly assess an athlete's agility in less than 5 minutes.

The Rating assesses the following characteristics:

  • Explosiveness
  • Reaction
  • Proprioception/Accuracy
  • Movement Efficiency
  • Symmetry

The Agility Rating includes a detailed report with

  • A composite score
  • Symmetry analysis
  • A chart comparing scores to the world’s top-performing athletes.
  • A recommended workout plan based on the Agility Rating score.
